I am proud of my club lacrosse team the Westside Warriors. I am starting attack man which means I am of the one off the three people that surrounds our opponents goal and take shots. I am fast enough to be a midfielder which are the people that run up and down the field the entire game, but I am to small. I am a backup midfielder. Lacrosse is my all time favorite sport. We aren't very good and lose more games than win but I am still striving for my second Championship, in all sports. We only have two practices a week but only have three formations, two for offense and one for defense. We have a big tournament in The Rose Bowl every February and we always get first place, but it seems as the season goes on we get some what worse. Our goalie likes to argue with the officials, his dad and a kid named Jack on our team. He is not the best goalie in the world but isn't bad. We play three teams, Malibu, Tribe Pasadena Black and Tribe Pasadena Gold. We lost every game of the season except one, where we beat Malibu 7-5. I still haven't scored a goal but am practicing more and more to get that ball past the goalie. In conclusion, this sport is very fun to me and I would like to play it in High School and hopefully in college.

Special Memoir

The holiday I remember most was when I was two years old. My brother and sister weren't born yet I lived with my Mom, Dad and dog, Brinkley. It was Christmas morning and I was super excited, I think. I don't remember exactly how it went but this is what I think happened. I was super excited in the morning, all ready to go happy to go see what was under the Christmas tree. I was in my own room, and waited and waited and waited. Then Dad said that he had gotten the camera ready. I would go to my parents room and wait with my Mom until my Dad said, "Come on down Chase!" and I bolted from the room as fast as my stubby legs could go and squealed in joy when I say right in front of my a giant Thomas the Train set. Prior to this day I had been obsessed with trains. There was a conductors hat siting on the table along with a train whistle that went, "Whoo Whoo" whenever you would use it. I played for hours on the train set. I was excited about my other presents too but I loved the train set by far the most. I played with the set until I was about four or five years old. The present lasted until I was ten years old. I still remember how much I loved and played with the set it was by far the best Christmas gift I have ever gotten.

Historical Memoir

I have lived through many historical events through out the twelve years here is my memory on what happened on September 11, 2001. 9/11, this was one of the worst days in American History. I was only five months old when it happened but it feels like I was ten years old. My mom told me that my dad had to come home from work as soon as possible. I didn't understand what was happening but when my dad came home we all sat down and watched the tv. My mom held me in her arms and told me that daddy wasn't going to go to work for a couple days. About 15 minutes later the second plane hit the other tower and we were so scared that something horrible was about to happen. Then the first tower fell...and there was a massive crash and my mom and dad had looks of shock across their faces. We thought the worst was behind us, but we spoke to soon. We got word that a un named plane was on track for the pentagon. It went into the pentagon. I was so scared, so I fell asleep. This is one of the worst days in American History.

Person Memoir

My grandfather, William Prince, is my Dad's father. My Grandpa and I have a connection because his first name is my middle name which will always stay with me. He is so special to me because we have had many great "first experiences" together.   There are two particular memories that will be impossible for me to forget. The first is when I was two years old. This was the day my little sister, Kylie, was going to be born. For a special surprise my grandpa took me to the Santa Monica Pier until it was time for me to go see my new little sister. I remember being really happy to go to the pier and play fun games and go on small fun rides that I would enjoy. But then I was mesmerized by this rope. I'm not sure why I liked the rope, but I did. I followed the rope for awhile until I got to the turnstile.  I looked up and there was a man saying, "Two tickets please." My Grandpa handed him two tickets, and we went through the turnstile. Little did I know I was getting onto the dragon ride that swings back and forth really high. I looked up, and I saw the dragon, I was excited to get on because I didn't know what it did. We got in our seats, and my grandpa said, "Hold tight, Chase." I asked him why and he said wait and see. Then the dragon started to swing back and forth very slowly and lightly, I liked it that way but then it slowly started to swing really high and I got scared and bewildered at the same time. I wasn't sure what was happening I thought the dragon was going to flip over and I can still remember some girls screaming very loudly. When the ride came to a stop I couldn't stand when I tried.  So my grandpa had to carry me. I told him after we got off the ride, "Let's never do that again."

My second fun but terrifying memory with my grandpa was just two years ago. We were at my great grandmas house in Penguitch, Utah. We had just taken my mom's car to be cleaned and started our way up a hill when my Grandpa stopped the truck and said, "Chase drive." My dad who was also in the car said, "What?" and again my grandpa said, "Chase drive." After my dad figured out what he was saying he started to say that this was a very dumb idea. Eventually I was thrown into the driver's seat. I had to sit way up in the seat to be able to reach the pedals as well as to see out the window.   After a couple of minutes I got the hang of it and my hands were clenching the stirring wheel. We started going up some crazy turns and I almost pitched the car off the side of the cliff when my Dad grabbed the steering wheel and turned me back onto the dirt road.  Later that day, it was just me and Grandpa at the house and he asked me if I wanted to drive again and I said, "Sure!" I jumped in the car and he took me to another dirt road where I had to be careful. If there were any other cars coming he said pull over jump into the passenger seat as quick as possible and sit there.  This happened once or twice and when I would get into the passenger seat he would jump out of the car grab a spray bottle from the back and pretend to clean the car.  When a car would pass by he would give me a little smirk smile which to me meant keep driving. These are two precious memories that I have with my Grandpa along with the first time I jumped into snow.  He was there to witness  When I first skied he was there and the first time I used an intercom to call he was on the other line asking about stocks and trades since I was at my Dads office. In conclusion, I could never lose the precious memories that I have had with my grandpa and hope to make even more in the future to come.
